Come and "hit it off" with friends at our weekly Table Tennis For Fun sessions. Whether you're a beginner or just looking for a fun way to stay active, these sessions offer a relaxed and social environment for all ages. Paddles and balls are provided by the library staff.
What to Expect
Enjoy friendly matches played in a round robin format, perfect for meeting new people and having fun. No prior experience or bookings are necessary, making it easy to drop in and join the fun. Sessions run every Friday, providing a regular opportunity for low-impact physical activity.
Activity Details
- Weekly sessions every Friday from 13:00 to 15:00
- Location: Lionel Bowen Library, Maroubra, Level 3
- Paddles and balls available at the staff desk on Level 1
- Open to library members only
- No sessions on public holidays as the library will be closed
Location and Access
The sessions take place at Lionel Bowen Library and Community Centre, located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. Access the venue via the lift to Level 3 and follow the sounds of ping pong. The library is committed to accessibility and inclusivity; please contact staff for any special requirements.
Important Information
All participants must be library members and register their attendance at Level 1 before playing. Equipment is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Covid-19 safety measures are in place, and participants agree to comply with the library’s health and safety terms. Sessions are subject to change without notice.
