The sessions are designed as friendly round robin matches, encouraging interaction and light competition without any pressure. No bookings or prior experience are necessary, making it an ideal activity for parents looking for a relaxed yet engaging pastime.

Activity Details

These weekly sessions run every Friday from 13:00 to 15:00, starting on 2026-01-09 and continuing until 2026-03-27. The event is free but exclusively available to library members. Participants must sign in and register their details at the library before playing.

Equipment such as paddles and balls are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the library staff desk. The games follow a round robin format, ensuring everyone gets plenty of playtime and social interaction.

Location and Access

The event takes place at the Lionel Bowen Library and Community Centre, located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. Players can access the table tennis area on level 3 by catching the lift and following the sounds of ping pong.

Important Information

Please note that there are no table tennis sessions on public holidays as the library will be closed. All participants must be library members and comply with the library’s health and safety policies, including Covid-safe measures.
