What to Expect
Each Monday, the Lionel Bowen Library hosts table tennis games where paddles and balls are provided by the library staff. Expect a welcoming atmosphere with round robin style matches that encourage social interaction and light exercise. No prior experience or bookings are needed, making it easy to drop in and join the fun.
Activity Details
- Sessions run every Monday from 13:00 to 15:00
- The event continues weekly until June 1, 2026
- Open exclusively to Randwick City Library members
- Paddles and balls are available on a first-come, first-served basis
- No games on public holidays as the library will be closed
Location and Access
The sessions take place at Lionel Bowen Library, located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. Participants can access the table tennis area on level 3 of the library and community centre by using the lift. The venue is committed to accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably.
Important Information
All players must be library members and register their attendance at the library on level 1 before playing. Covid-19 safety measures are in place and participants agree to comply with health and safety terms. For any access requirements or questions, contact the library staff who are happy to assist.
