It’s tournament time! Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned player, this Magic: The Gathering event is the perfect opportunity for teens to dive into the exciting world of tabletop gaming. Bring your own deck or borrow one of ours and challenge other players in a friendly, welcoming environment.
Join a lively community of young gamers eager to play Magic: The Gathering. Expect a relaxed but competitive atmosphere where everyone can learn and have fun. You’ll also get a chance to explore e-comics from popular game franchises like Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering through the library’s Comics Plus service.
This monthly event is designed for youth gamers and welcomes all skill levels. Whether you want to test your deck-building skills or just enjoy some casual matches, this tournament offers something for everyone. The event runs for three hours, providing plenty of time for multiple rounds and socializing.
The tournament takes place at Ashfield Library, located on Level 3 of the Civic Centre at 260 Liverpool Road, Ashfield NSW 2131. Participants can bring their own Magic: The Gathering decks or borrow one from the library. The event is free to attend, but registration via Eventbrite is recommended to secure your spot. This is a safe, inclusive space welcoming teens of all backgrounds and experience levels.
