What to Expect

Activity Details
Classes run weekly on Tuesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, starting 28 April 2026, with sessions continuing through June. On 1 June, a longer session from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM is scheduled.
The cost is $10 per class, payable online or at the community centre. Bookings are essential to secure your spot.
Satomi brings years of experience and a warm teaching style, ensuring participants feel supported and encouraged throughout their Tai Chi journey.
Location and Access
The classes are held at The Summit Community Centre, located at 4 Crescent Drive, Norton Summit SA 5136.
Parking is limited; carpooling is encouraged. There are two carparks available, including a disabled parking space with ramp access to the centre. Additional parking is available along Crescent Drive and behind Norton Summit CFS.
The centre is fully accessible, with disabled toilets, baby change facilities, and a welcoming, inclusive environment.
Important Information
The community centre is closed on Fridays and public holidays. In the event of Extreme or Catastrophic Fire Danger Ratings for the Mt Lofty Ranges, classes will be cancelled without notice, with refunds or rescheduling offered.
Participants are advised to dress comfortably and bring layers for cooler weather, as well as a torch or phone light if attending evening events.
The centre is LGBTQI+ friendly, dementia friendly, and supports breastfeeding parents. Facilities include a kitchen with a kettle, microwave, and fridge for warming bottles or meals.

Bookings are required and can be made online or by calling The Summit Community Centre at 8390 0457 during opening hours (Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM).
Each class costs $10, making it an affordable way to invest in your health and wellbeing.
Early booking is recommended due to limited class sizes and parking availability.
