Activity Details
This is a stay-and-play program where children aged 2.5 to 5 years lead the way in exploration and play. Sessions are open-ended and child-led, allowing kids to climb, collect, splash, balance, build cubbies, tie ropes, watch bugs, and dig in the dirt at their own pace.
Educators support and guide the play without rushing, ensuring a relaxed and engaging experience. Adults are encouraged to participate and learn alongside their children, deepening the nature connection.
Each session runs for two hours, providing ample time for immersive play and learning.
Location and Access
The program takes place in the beautiful woodlands of Parramatta Park, located at Pitt Street & Macquarie Street, Parramatta, 2150. The park offers a natural setting ideal for outdoor exploration and play.
The location is accessible by public transport and has ample parking nearby, making it convenient for families to attend.
Participants are advised to wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for nature play and to be prepared for weather conditions.
