What to Expect
Step into the exciting world of film-making with the indelarts Toowoomba Film Class, designed especially for those aged 16 and over. This inclusive workshop welcomes beginners and experienced creatives alike, offering a supportive environment to learn and collaborate.
Explore storytelling, cinematography, and acting techniques under the guidance of acclaimed actor, writer, and director Shideh Faramand. Together with fellow aspiring filmmakers, you will create your own short film from concept to completion.

Activity Details
The class runs every Tuesday from 28 April to 23 June 2026, from 13:00 to 14:30 at the Empire Theatre.
- Open to participants aged 16 and above with no upper age limit.
- No prior experience required.
- Support workers and carers are welcome to join.
Each session builds on the last, culminating in the production of a collaborative short film.

The workshop is held at the Empire Theatre, located at 54-56 Neil Street, Toowoomba City, QLD 4350.

Important Information
All students must book a trial class through the enrolment link provided on the event page.
After the trial, participants can choose to continue for the full term with an invoice sent for the remaining sessions.
The class is run by indelarts, a theatre company dedicated to providing professional opportunities for artists who identify as disabled or neurodivergent.

The cost is $30 per lesson or $270 for the full term, plus a booking fee.
