What to Expect
Come along to a fun and engaging ukulele class tailored just for kids! This program is perfect for children curious about learning a musical instrument. The ukulele’s simple design makes it easy for beginners to pick up songs quickly, while its bright, cheerful sound delights all ages.
Under the guidance of our resident musical guru Tito, your child will develop basic musical skills and gain confidence in a supportive environment. Whether your child has never played an instrument before or wants to try something new, this class is a wonderful introduction to music.
The sessions are designed to be interactive and enjoyable, encouraging creativity and a love of music that can last a lifetime.
Activity Details
This free program runs every Thursday from 6 August to 10 September 2026, with sessions from 16:00 to 17:00. One booking covers all six weeks of the program, ensuring your child has a consistent learning experience.
All materials and ukuleles are provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own instrument if they have one. Please note that for children aged 12 and under, a parent or guardian must remain in the library during the class.
Spaces and instruments are limited, so booking in advance is essential to secure your child’s spot.
Location and Access
The classes take place at Oatley Library, located at 26 Letitia Street, Oatley. The library is a welcoming community space with easy access and facilities designed to support inclusive participation.

Important Information
Please arrive on time as late arrivals (more than 10 minutes after start) may lose their place if there is a standby queue. If you cannot attend, cancel your booking at least 3 hours before the event to allow others to participate.
Repeated no-shows without notification may result in future booking refusals. The library does not endorse or promote any products used during the workshop.
