Come along to our brand-new ukulele classes, just for kids! This free music program is perfect for children aged 8-12 who are curious about learning a musical instrument. The ukulele is an ideal beginner instrument with a simple design that allows students to learn songs easily. Despite its compact size, it produces a big, bright sound that children love.
In this engaging class, your child will be guided by our resident musical guru Tito, who brings a wealth of experience and passion for music. The sessions focus on developing basic musical skills and building confidence through fun and interactive learning. Children can bring their own ukuleles or borrow one from the Musical Instrument Collection.

The classes take place at South Hurstville Library, located at the corner of Allen and Short Streets, South Hurstville. The library is committed to providing inclusive services and programs. Parents or guardians must remain in the library during the session for children aged 12 and under, with a maximum supervision ratio of one adult to four children.
Spaces are limited, so bookings are essential. Late arrivals (more than 10 minutes) may lose their place to standby participants. Please cancel registrations at least 3 hours before the event if unable to attend to avoid future booking refusals. Parent or guardian contact details are required at booking for participants under 16. The library does not endorse any products used in the workshop.
