Activity Details
The event runs nightly from Wednesday to Sunday between April 24 and May 17, 2026. Sessions begin every 15 minutes, allowing you to enter at your own pace and explore the forest at leisure.
Low-sensory sessions are available at 6:00pm on Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, providing a gentler experience for visitors who may benefit from a quieter environment.
Allow approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes to fully enjoy the immersive journey. Food trucks offering pizza, ice-cream, coffee, and hot donuts are available each night to satisfy your family’s cravings.
Location and Access
The Enchanted Forest is located at Blackbutt Forest Reserve, the largest natural bushland reserve in the Illawarra and home to native wildlife including cockatoos, parrots, and endangered Grey Headed Flying Foxes.
Parking is available at Picnic Ground Parking off Shellharbour Road, with accessible parking at Blackbutt Way carpark. A drop-off/loading zone near Blackbutt Way carpark is provided for families with small children or mobility needs.
Due to limited parking and a 10-minute walk to the entrance, it is recommended to arrive 15 minutes early. Complimentary shuttle buses run every Friday and Saturday night between The Shellharbour Club and the event.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your session time to ensure smooth entry and to allow time for parking or shuttle transport. Sessions run from 6:00pm with general sessions continuing until 9:00pm on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and until 10:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
The event welcomes visitors of all ages, with special pricing for infants and children. Low-sensory sessions are designed to accommodate guests requiring a quieter, less stimulating environment.
