What to Expect
Discover the art of turning discarded materials into deeply personal junk journals. This workshop invites teens to explore their creativity and identity through a radical form of self-expression where there are no mistakes, only stories waiting to be told.
Bring along your own mementos like photos, stickers, or scrap paper to incorporate into your journal. Whether capturing moments of queer joy, venting emotions, or simply playing with aesthetics, this is a welcoming space to be unapologetically you.
You'll have access to a "Junk Bar" filled with magazines, rainbow ephemera, and funky textures, plus guided prompts focused on identity, creativity, and radical self-love.
