What to Expect
Step into a vibrant world where Indigenous art and storytelling illuminate the Australian National Maritime Museum precinct. This year’s Vivid Sydney program showcases the extraordinary work of Torres Strait artist Brian Robinson, transforming the museum into a surreal realm of mythology, marine life, and pop culture through stunning light-based installations.
Families can enjoy a variety of experiences including rooftop projections, harbour and lighthouse LED sculptures, interactive children’s theatre, and a unique night-time sea kayaking adventure. There’s something magical for every member of the family to explore and enjoy.
Whether wandering through illuminated artworks or participating in hands-on activities, this festival promises to inspire creativity and connection with culture and environment.
