Discover the joy of weaving and crafting in this engaging workshop designed especially for children aged 5 to 12. Kids will learn how to transform simple disposable cups into vibrant, functional mini baskets, sparking creativity and imagination.
Led by local artist Linda Brescia, this session offers a playful introduction to sustainable making, encouraging problem-solving and resourcefulness through hands-on activities.
Parents or guardians are welcome to stay on site, ensuring a supportive environment for young makers to explore and create.
Participants will be guided through simple weaving techniques using upcycled materials, turning everyday items into unique art pieces. The workshop is suitable for children with varying levels of experience, making it perfect for beginners and young artists alike.

The museum is open from 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Friday and 10am to 3pm on Saturdays, closed on Sundays, Mondays, and public holidays.
