What to Expect
Step into Wonderverse, a dazzling universe of light designed especially for children aged 4 to 10 and their families. This immersive experience invites young explorers to journey through vibrant worlds filled with mesmerizing fireflies, glowing forests, and the vastness of the cosmos. Created by the acclaimed Patch Theatre, Wonderverse blends theatre, interactive lighting, and music to spark creativity and wonder.
The adventure is guided by engaging hosts and features stunning lighting designs by Geoff Cobham alongside captivating tunes by Elisha Umuhuri from Aboriginal hip-hop group DEM MOB. It’s a perfect blend of play, education, and visual spectacle that will captivate both children and adults alike.
Activity Details
Wonderverse runs from Friday 22 May to Saturday 13 June 2026, operating Mondays and Wednesdays through Sundays from 10:00 to 21:00, with no shows on Tuesdays. Each session lasts approximately 40 minutes, offering a compact yet memorable experience.
Children under 18 months are admitted free but prams are not allowed inside the performance area. Tickets cost $25 for general admission. The event is part of the Vivid Sydney Festival and is held at the Australian National Maritime Museum’s Lighthouse Gallery.
