You can wear your best hand-knits and participate in a lively yarn swap to refresh your stash. There’s also a chance to win a lucky door prize and enjoy complimentary afternoon tea featuring freshly baked scones by the Stirling CWA.

Participants are welcome to bring yarn for a one-for-one swap and are encouraged to join the community knitting experience on a double-decker bus provided by Adelaide Metro. This unique ride offers a fun and social way to celebrate the day.
The event is held at the Stirling Library, conveniently located at 63 Mount Barker Road in Stirling. The venue is accessible by car and public transport, with special arrangements for those wishing to travel in style on the Adelaide Metro double-decker bus.
The library is a community hub in the Adelaide Hills, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery and easy walking trails for those who want to explore before or after the event.
Please note that events may be cancelled on days with Catastrophic or Extreme Fire Danger Ratings in the Mt Lofty Ranges. In such cases, library branches will close and programs will be cancelled without notice. Refunds or rescheduling will be offered if applicable.
Current fire danger ratings can be checked online to stay informed. All skill levels are welcome, and the event is designed to be inclusive and supportive for beginners and experienced crafters alike.
There is no cost to attend this community knitting event. While booking is not mandatory, registering your attendance is appreciated to help organisers plan for afternoon tea and seating.
