Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your composting skills, this session is perfect for families wanting to embrace sustainable living. You'll also have the opportunity to purchase a subsidised worm farm to start your own at home.

The workshop runs from 19:00 to 20:30 on Wednesday, 13 May 2026, at the Coogee Community Hall. It is part of the Home Waste Compost Subsidy program aimed at promoting sustainable waste management.
Tickets cost $5 per person, and light refreshments will be provided to keep you energized. Remember to bring a reusable water bottle and proof of address if you plan to buy a subsidised worm farm for $95.
Non-residents are welcome to attend and learn about organic waste recycling, with information on subsidies available in neighbouring councils.
