Dive into the exciting world of animation with guidance from Sabrina Schmid, a talented Melbourne-based animator and independent filmmaker. This workshop series offers young creatives the chance to bring their ideas to life by crafting a short animation piece.
All materials needed for the animation process are provided, so participants can focus on unleashing their creativity without any hassle. Plus, snacks are included to keep energy levels high during the sessions.
Designed specifically for young people aged 12 to 25, this workshop is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, meet like-minded peers, and explore the art of storytelling through animation.
The workshop runs over two sessions on consecutive Thursdays, each lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes from 15:30 to 16:45. Participants will be mentored closely by Sabrina Schmid, who brings experience from working on films and TV shows like Pingu.
This hands-on experience will cover the basics of animation creation, allowing attendees to develop their own unique short video.
Registration is essential to secure a spot, and interested participants can sign up by calling Marc or emailing the youth services team.
