What to Expect
Experience a moving and respectful Anzac Day Dawn Service at the Arch of Remembrance in Brighton. The event is free to attend and open to the public. It is held outdoors at the Arch of Remembrance, a significant local landmark.
Please note that some roads near the venue will be closed from 5:00 am to 8:00 am to ensure safety and accommodate the event.
Location and Access
The service is held at the Arch of Remembrance located on the Esplanade at Brighton Beach, Brighton, South Australia. This picturesque location offers a serene backdrop for the dawn service.
Limited parking is available nearby, but due to road closures, attendees are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly. Public transport options may be considered to avoid parking restrictions.
Be aware of temporary no parking and no stopping zones in effect during the event, with towing enforced for vehicles parked illegally.
Important Information
Road closures will affect the Esplanade between Bindarra Road and Dunluce Avenue, and Jetty Road between Elm Street and the Esplanade from 5:00 am to 8:00 am on the day of the event.
Vehicle towing will be enforced in accordance with the Road Traffic Act 1961, Section 40N, so please adhere to parking restrictions to avoid fines and towing fees.
Dress warmly and consider bringing a blanket or chair for comfort during the early morning service.
