The festival runs on Saturday, 16 May 2026, from 13:00 to 18:00. It takes place along Rochester Street between The Crescent and Burlington Road, right outside Homebush Train Station's southern side.
The event features live music and cultural performances throughout the afternoon, alongside roving entertainers who will surprise and delight visitors. Children can enjoy free activities including face painting, sponsored by Community Bank Homebush and North Ryde (part of Bendigo Bank).
Food and drinks are available for purchase from several local stores on Rochester Street, ensuring everyone can enjoy a tasty treat while soaking up the festival atmosphere.
Homebush Vibes is conveniently located on Rochester Street, Homebush, 2140, just a short walk from Homebush Train Station. The street will be closed from 05:00 to 22:00 on the day to create a safe and bustling event space.
Parking is limited, so visitors are encouraged to use public transport or cycle. The event is easily accessible by train and bus, with the station adjacent to the festival site. Cyclists can take a short detour off the Cooks River Bay to Bay track.
Accessibility is a priority with fully paved pathways suitable for prams and wheelchairs, accessible parking on Burlington Road, and portable accessible bathrooms and changing facilities available on site.
Road closures will be in effect along Rochester Street from The Crescent to Burlington Road, with detours via Burlington Road, Meredith Street, Homebush Road, and The Crescent. Residents will retain access to their homes during these times.
Council staff will be on hand throughout the event to assist visitors and ensure a smooth experience. Portable accessible bathrooms and changing facilities will be provided in addition to those in local cafes.
