Activity Details
The event runs on Saturday, 27 June 2026, with three available sessions: 07:30-08:30, 08:30-09:30, and 09:30-10:30. Each session allows participants to complete the beep test in a timely and organized manner.
Participants must bring a valid driver licence or passport for identification, a completed QFD Fitness & Indemnity Form signed by a medical professional, a water bottle, gym towel, and snacks to stay hydrated and energized.
Appropriate attire is essential: wear shorts, gym tights, pants, and t-shirts with closed-in running shoes. Open-toe shoes, work boots, sleeveless shirts, skirts, singlets, and dresses are not permitted due to safety and assessment standards.
Location and Access
The assessment takes place at the Toowoomba Showgrounds, Founders Pavilion, located on Glenvale Road, Glenvale QLD 4350. This venue is accessible and well-known locally, making it easy to find and attend.
Parking is available onsite, and the location is suitable for those driving or using local transport options. Arrive a little early to allow time for check-in and preparation.
Important Information
Friends, family, children, and pets are not allowed at the assessment to ensure a focused and safe environment for all participants.
The Queensland Fire and Rescue Service has strict workplace health and safety obligations; anyone not dressed appropriately will be denied participation.
