This engaging workshop invites children aged 6 to 11 to explore their creativity by building abstract sculptures using wire and foam. Kids will enjoy moving around as they construct their unique pieces, then bring them to life with vibrant paint. The session encourages imaginative play and hands-on learning in a supportive environment.
Participants will have the opportunity to create stacked and linear shapes, experimenting with form and design. The workshop includes supervised breaks for morning or afternoon tea, and a lunch break if attending the full day. Children should bring a water bottle, snacks or lunch, and a jacket to stay comfortable throughout the day.
The workshop is held at Waverley Woollahra Art School, located at 138 Bondi Rd, Bondi NSW 2026. The venue features a beautiful garden where breaks are usually held, weather permitting, providing a refreshing outdoor space for the kids.
Please ensure your child arrives prepared with a water bottle, snack or lunch, and a jacket. The session runs on Wednesday 1 July from 13:15 to 16:15. The class is designed to be active and creative, so comfortable clothing is recommended. Supervision is provided throughout the breaks.
