What to Expect
Get your kids moving and having fun with the Active Holidays program, designed to keep children engaged and active during the school holidays. From dance and gymnastics to soccer and netball, there’s something for every young sports enthusiast aged 3 to 18 years. Activities are spread across multiple locations in Wyndham, making it easy to find a session nearby.
This program encourages children to try new sports and develop skills in a friendly, supportive environment. Parents can expect a safe, well-organised experience with qualified instructors and a variety of options to suit different ages and interests.

Activity Details
The program runs from Monday 29 June to Friday 10 July 2026, with sessions available Monday to Saturday at various times between 9:00 and 18:00. Activities include Dance, Gymnastics, Table Tennis, Basketball, Cricket, Netball, Soccer, Rugby League, Volleyball, Lacrosse, Cross Country, Roller Skating, and more.
Each activity targets specific age groups, for example, Mini Movers for 3-4 year olds, Net Set Go for 5-10 year olds, and Come and Try Soccer for 4-11 year olds. Sessions vary in length from 30 minutes to several hours, with some activities requiring pre-booking due to limited spaces.
Booking is done online via Humanitix, with registration opening 7 days before each session. If a session is fully booked, a waiting list is available. Parents must cancel bookings at least 3 hours before if unable to attend to allow others to participate.
Location and Access
Activities take place across multiple venues in Wyndham including Point Cook, Truganina, Hoppers Crossing, Werribee, Wyndham Vale, and Tarneit. Key locations include Eagle Stadium, Featherbrook Community Centre, Flip Gymnastics, Dunnings Road Reserve, Saltwater Community Centre, and more.
Most venues are community centres or sports facilities with accessible parking and public transport options nearby. Parents are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes early for registration and to ensure children are signed in.
Outdoor sessions may be affected by weather conditions; updates and cancellations will be communicated to registered participants. Appropriate clothing, footwear, and water bottles are recommended for all activities.
Important Information
This is a free program offered by Wyndham City in partnership with community providers. Children must be within the specified age ranges for each activity to participate. Under 16s require a parent or carer aged 16 or older to be present at the activity location.
Photography and video recording during sessions are not permitted to ensure child safety. Medical conditions should be communicated to coaches prior to participation.
Participants must book in advance; walk-ins are not accepted to maintain safe instructor-to-child ratios. Registration data is securely stored and used only for program monitoring and evaluation.

Booking and Prices
All activities in the Active Holidays program are free of charge. Booking is essential and can be completed online via Humanitix from 7 days before each session.
To book, select the week, choose the activity, check session details, and register. Tickets will be emailed and can be added to digital calendars for convenience.
If a session is full, join the waiting list to be notified if a spot opens. Cancellations should be made at least 3 hours before the session to free up spaces for others.
