Looking for a fun and active way for your kids to enjoy the school holidays? This one-day AFL Holiday Camp is perfect for children aged 4 to 12 years who want to learn new skills, stay active, and have a great day of "Good Clean Fun." Experienced AFL coaches lead the sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment where kids can build confidence and make new friends.
Children aged 4-7 years will engage in introductory Auskick activities focusing on fundamental movement and basic footy skills. Meanwhile, 8-12 year olds will participate in Superkick sessions that combine skill development with modified gameplay, suitable for beginners with no prior AFL experience required.
This camp is designed to encourage physical activity and teamwork through fun games, skill activities, and team challenges, making it an ideal holiday activity for energetic kids.
The camp runs for one full day on Wednesday 15 April 2026, from 09:00 to 15:00. It is open to children aged 4 to 12 years, divided into age-appropriate groups to ensure the best learning experience.
Activities include:
- Introductory Auskick for younger children (4-7 years)
- Superkick skill development and modified games for older children (8-12 years)
- Fun games and team challenges to build confidence and teamwork
No prior AFL experience is necessary, making this camp accessible to all skill levels.
The event takes place at Kelso Park North, Panania 2213. Kelso Park is a spacious outdoor venue suitable for active sports and easily accessible for families in the Canterbury Bankstown area.
Parents can find parking nearby and are encouraged to bring water bottles, sun protection, and comfortable clothing for their children.
Public transport options are available to Panania, making it convenient for families without a car.
This is a free event, so early booking is recommended to secure a spot. The camp is run by experienced AFL coaches who ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Children should arrive promptly at 09:00 and be picked up by 15:00. Parents are responsible for their children before and after the camp hours.
