Join a small group of participants in a supportive environment where you will learn to operate a forge and use traditional blacksmithing tools and an anvil. By the end of the session, you will have crafted your own cold chisel, hot cutter, round punch, centre punch, and tongs. This workshop is perfect for those aged 16 and over who are curious about this historic trade.
The workshop runs from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM and includes comprehensive instruction from Terry, who brings over 20 years of teaching experience. Participants should wear closed-in boots or steel-capped shoes, long pants, and long sleeves for safety. Spectators are welcome to observe the fascinating process.
