What to Expect
Each day is packed with engaging activities that include spending time with farm animals, participating in wildlife park rides to see kangaroos and emus, and themed hands-on experiences such as animal enrichment, farm cooking, and habitat discovery. Children will be fully supervised by experienced program leaders, ensuring a fun and safe day.
Activity Details
- Tuesday 30 June: Animal Enrichment – Create toys and treats for the animals.
- Thursday 2 July: Winter Warmers – Enjoy farm cooking and bake scones with hot chocolate.
- Monday 6 July: Buckets and Barrows – Feed the animals using wheelbarrows and buckets.
- Wednesday 8 July: Hidden Habitats – Explore and discover lesser-known farm residents.
- Friday 10 July: From the Ground Up – Participate in composting and planting to care for the farm.
Location and Access
The program takes place at Bundoora Park Farm, located at 1069 Plenty Road, Bundoora, 3083. The farm is accessible by car and public transport, with ample parking available. The venue offers a spacious outdoor environment perfect for children to explore and learn about farm life.
Important Information
This is a drop-off and pick-up program running daily from 10:00 to 15:00. Children should bring a morning snack and lunch, or they can place an order with the on-site café. The program is suitable for primary school children from prep to grade 6 and is fully supervised by experienced staff.
