This event is designed especially for seniors, providing a great opportunity to meet new people and enjoy a shared culinary experience.
The cooking demonstration focuses on easy-to-prepare, healthy recipes that use one pot for convenience and minimal cleanup. Participants will receive a take-home recipe to try on their own.
The session runs for 1.5 hours, from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, allowing ample time for cooking, eating, and socializing.
Bookings are required, and the event is subsidised through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), making it affordable and accessible for eligible seniors.
The event takes place at the Cooinda Community Centre, a comfortable and accessible venue located within the City of Marion.
