What to Expect

All equipment is provided, so you just need to bring your enthusiasm, a drink bottle, and wear comfortable clothing and footwear that allows you to move freely. This is a fun, social event where you can meet new people and try something new.

Activity Details
The session runs for one hour, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Sunday, 15 March 2026. It begins with a hands-on lawn bowls introduction led by an experienced player who will teach you the fundamentals. Following the game, Kumari Mangos will share insights on the challenges women face in sports participation and how initiatives like ‘This Girl Can’ are making a difference.
This event is part of the Melton City Girls Can campaign, celebrating and encouraging women’s participation in sport throughout March. It coincides closely with International Women’s Day, emphasizing empowerment and community connection.

This session is free of charge and open exclusively to women aged 18 years and above. All lawn bowls equipment will be supplied, so there is no need to bring your own.
