What to Expect

Using everyday recycled materials like toilet rolls, fabric, paper, and other found objects, you will bring your hero doll to life. Feel free to bring your own materials to personalize your creation even more.
Your finished doll could be featured in the Once Upon a Doll exhibition, giving your artwork a special place in the gallery.
Activity Details
This free workshop is open to all ages, making it a wonderful opportunity for families to bond over art and creativity. The sessions run on multiple dates, including Thursday 9 July 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 15:00.

All materials are provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own recycled items to add a personal touch to their dolls.

The workshop takes place at Wollongong Art Gallery, located at 46 Burelli Street, Wollongong NSW. The gallery is open Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00 and weekends from 12:00 to 16:00, closed on Mondays and public holidays.
