This week-long drama workshop invites curious and creative children aged 8 to 10 to develop characters, build confidence, and explore storytelling through acting and movement. Guided by professional artists, participants will immerse themselves in a magical theme of witches, warlocks, and wizards.
What to Expect
Children will engage in daily drama activities designed to spark imagination and creativity. They will learn to express themselves through movement and voice, culminating in a performance on the Ensemble Theatre stage. The workshop encourages teamwork, confidence building, and fun in a supportive environment.
Activity Details
The workshop runs Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 15:30, with early drop-off available from 8:30. After-care is offered Monday to Thursday until 17:00 for an additional fee. The week includes a final performance showcasing the skills and stories developed during the workshop.
Location and Access
From Monday to Thursday, the workshop is held at Loreto Kirribilli School, located at 85 Carabella Street, Kirribilli, with drop-off and pick-up via the main gate on Carabella Street. On Friday, the venue shifts to Ensemble Theatre at 78 McDougall Street, Kirribilli, just around the corner from Loreto Kirribilli.
Important Information
Participants should bring a packed lunch and wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement. The workshop is designed for children aged 8 to 10 years. Early drop-off and after-care services provide flexibility for busy parents.
