Activity Details
Classes run every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 12:00 to 12:20 pm, providing a short but effective midday break. Outside of class times, a quiet space is available Monday to Friday from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm for personal meditation or relaxation.
The sessions are free of charge and led by qualified Buddhist teachers from the Kadampa Meditation Centre Melbourne. This welcoming environment encourages participants to cultivate inner peace and wellbeing.
Location and Access
The classes take place at Nightingale Wurru wurru biik, Unit 104, 219 Albion Street, Brunswick. Enter via the brick path on the railway side (western side) and go upstairs. For those requiring all-ability access, use the intercom and dial 104 (bell symbol) for assistance.
The venue is conveniently located opposite Anstey Station on the Upfield train line, making it easily accessible by public transport.
Important Information
Participants are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early to settle in before the session begins. Comfortable clothing is recommended to enhance relaxation during meditation.
The quiet space is available for use outside of class times to support ongoing mindfulness practice throughout the week.
Please note that while the classes are free, booking is not required, but arriving early is advised due to limited space.
