The luncheon runs from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM on Fridays, providing a relaxed and enjoyable timeframe for seniors to gather.
It is part of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and requires a My Aged Care referral with a $10 fee.
Bookings are essential due to limited spots, ensuring a comfortable and intimate setting for all attendees.
Held at the Cooinda Community Centre, a friendly and accessible venue located within the City of Marion.
The centre is equipped to accommodate seniors comfortably and is easily reachable by public transport and car.
Parking and accessibility features are available to support attendees with mobility needs.
Participants must be aged 65 or over and registered with My Aged Care to access this subsidised service.
A Social Support Referral Code and/or Meal Referral Code is required, and assistance with registration is available through the Positive Ageing and Inclusion team.
The program is funded by the Commonwealth Government Department of Health and Aged Care, ensuring quality and supportive services.
