Each tour is intimate and informative, providing insights into the history of the gardens, sustainability practices, and special ambassador plant species. The ever-changing seasonal flora means every visit offers something new and exciting.

The tour lasts one hour and accommodates groups of up to 15 people. You can customize your experience by choosing from four different tour options: Japanese Gardens, Trees of Melbourne Zoo, Nursery & Butterflies, or the History of our Gardens.
The tours are available seven days a week on request starting from Monday, 2 June. The minimum age for participants is 5 years, and children aged 5-12 must be accompanied by adults at a ratio of 1 adult per 3 children or 2 adults per 4 children.
This experience is mobility and wheelchair friendly, ensuring accessibility for all participants.
The tours take place within Melbourne Zoo, located in the heart of the city’s parklands. The zoo is easily accessible by public transport and offers ample facilities for visitors.
