Experience a solemn and respectful Dawn Service at Trinity Grammar School, commemorating the bravery and sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women. This event welcomes members of the public to gather in remembrance and reflection.
The service begins early in the morning, creating a peaceful atmosphere as the community comes together. Following the service, attendees can enjoy a traditional gunfire breakfast, offering a chance to socialize and connect.
Hosted by local community groups including the Friends of Kew RSL, Trinity Grammar School, the Rotary Club of Kew, 1st Kew Scout and Cubs, and Glenferrie Brass, this event is a heartfelt tribute to Anzac spirit.
Arrive by 5:45 am to secure your place for the 6:00 am Dawn Service held in the Atrium outside the Tudor Centre at Trinity Grammar School. Entry is via Charles Street.
The service is open to all members of the public and encourages community participation. After the service, a gunfire breakfast will be available for purchase, providing a traditional post-service gathering.
This event is community-run and independent from the City of Boroondara Council, ensuring a local and authentic experience.
