Enjoy a fantastic school holiday activity designed especially for children up to 10 years old. Bring your scooter or bike and invite friends to Kew Traffic School, where kids can develop their bike skills and learn traffic rules in a safe, miniature village environment. The sessions also include playtime in cubby houses, and rides on a mini train and mini tram, making it a fun day out for the whole family.
What to Expect
Children will have the opportunity to practice riding their bikes or scooters on a specially designed track that mimics real traffic conditions. The environment encourages learning through play, with various fun activities including cubby houses and miniature transport rides. Sessions are structured by age groups to ensure safety and appropriate skill development.

- Dates: Monday 29 June to Friday 10 July 2026
- Multiple daily sessions:
• Up to 6 years: 09:00 to 10:30 Monday to Friday
• 2 to 10 years: 11:00 to 12:30 Monday to Friday
• 2 to 10 years: 13:30 to 15:00 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
• 6 to 10 years: 13:30 to 15:00 Wednesday
- Bookings required for each child using the track, limited to 6 children per session
- Children must bring their own bike or scooter and helmet
- Full adult supervision is mandatory
Location and Access
The sessions take place at Kew Traffic School, located at 374 Cotham Road, Kew VIC 3101. The venue is accessible and provides resources such as social stories available via Access Ability Australia to support children with additional needs. Families are welcome to bring picnic rugs and snacks to enjoy during breaks.
Important Information
Helmets must be worn at all times while riding for safety. Adult supervision is required throughout the sessions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Tickets become available from Monday 15 June at 10:00 am. Each booking covers only the child riding or scooting on the track, so siblings or friends need separate bookings.
