Adventure awaits your kids at Bilarong Reserve with a day packed full of fun and learning. Children will dive into survival skills such as orienteering, shelter building, and fire lighting, all designed to engage their creativity and teamwork.
This hands-on experience encourages kids to explore nature and develop confidence in outdoor challenges. It’s perfect for parents looking for an active, educational day out during school holidays.
Participants will learn essential survival techniques including how to navigate using a map and compass, construct safe shelters from natural materials, and safely light a fire. The program fosters problem-solving and collaboration among children.
The event is suitable for school-aged children who enjoy outdoor activities and want to build new skills in a supportive environment. All activities are supervised by experienced instructors.
The event takes place at Bilarong Reserve, located at 55 Wakehurst Parkway, North Narrabeen NSW 2101. Entrance is off Wakehurst Parkway with drop off and pick up at Bilarong Reserve Community Hall.

Bookings are essential to secure a spot for your child. The program runs from 10:00 to 15:00 on Thursday, 9 April 2026.
Please ensure your child wears suitable outdoor clothing and brings a water bottle, hat, and sunscreen. All necessary equipment for activities will be provided.
The cost to participate is $82.00 per child. Bookings can be made online through the Northern Beaches Council website.
