What to Expect
Step into the exciting world of LEGO Spike Prime, where children aged 7-12 can develop their building and programming skills. This program combines colorful, easy-to-use hardware with coding challenges that inspire creativity and problem-solving.
Participants will follow structured lessons or have the freedom to create their own prototypes, encouraging hands-on learning and innovation. It’s a fantastic way to introduce kids to STEAM concepts in a fun and engaging environment.
Each session is designed to foster engineering, design, and critical thinking skills while ensuring the experience is enjoyable and interactive.
Activity Details
The program runs every Tuesday in February 2026, with two sessions available each day: 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Each workshop includes a 10-minute arrival and pack-up time within the session duration.
Registration is required, and customers are limited to one registration per day for programs with multiple sessions. Guardians of children under 12 must remain on-site during the program.
The sessions are free of charge, making this an accessible opportunity for families to explore STEAM learning together.
Location and Access
All sessions take place at Lab.LX, located within Whitlam Library at 165 Railway Parade, Cabramatta NSW 2166.
The venue is easily accessible and provides a welcoming space for children and their guardians. Parking and public transport options are available nearby.
Library membership is recommended for attendees and is free to join for everyone, enhancing access to additional resources and programs.
Important Information
Children should be within the 7-12 age range for optimal engagement. Guardians must be at least 16 years old and remain on the premises during the program.
The facilitators maintain a respectful and positive environment, and inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the program.
Photography may occur during the sessions for promotional purposes; attendees can notify staff if they do not consent.
Workshops may be rescheduled or canceled due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, with efforts made to inform participants promptly.
