What to Expect
Become part of a dedicated group of volunteers working to protect and regenerate the fragile beach dune environment at Maroubra. This activity offers a hands-on experience in environmental conservation, perfect for families looking to engage their children in meaningful outdoor activities.
You will be working alongside Council's Bushcare Officers to maintain the dunes by removing invasive weeds and planting indigenous species. The beach dunes face challenges from salt-laden winds and harsh sun, making this work vital for preserving local biodiversity.
