What to Expect
Join lively character tours that bring stories of the sea to life with singing, dancing, and storytelling. Children will explore different cultures, transport methods, and fascinating animals through themed sessions. Each visit offers creative free play, craft activities, games, and storytime in a welcoming, themed activity area.
Activity Details
- April sessions focus on "Around the World," exploring cultures and places across the seas with craft activities like printed book bags and whale puppets.
- May features "Terrific Transport," where children learn about various modes of transport and create souvenir boats, hot air balloons, or sailor hats.
- June's theme is "Alphabet Animals," highlighting wildlife with touch tours, music, games, and crafts such as block printed bags and animal puppets.
School holiday sessions include access to the Kids on Deck Maker Space for additional creative fun.

The program takes place at the Australian National Maritime Museum, located on Gadigal land at 2 Murray Street, Darling Harbour, Sydney NSW 2000. The museum is accessible by public transport and offers family-friendly facilities. Entry to Mini Mariners includes access to exhibitions featured in the tours.
Important Information
Online bookings are essential to secure your place. Booked playgroups are welcome. If purchasing a See It All ticket and wishing to join the tour, reserve your spot by emailing the museum or booking at the front desk on the day. The program is designed for children aged 2-5 years and their carers.
