MyTime Việt offers a warm and welcoming community for Vietnamese-speaking parents and carers of children with disabilities, developmental delays, or neurodivergence aged 0-18 years. Facilitated by Vy Phan, this peer group provides a relaxed and supportive environment to connect, share experiences, and find encouragement.
What to Expect
You can expect informal gatherings where you can meet others who understand your journey. Sessions often include guest speakers on topics relevant to members, with discussions shaped by participant interests. It’s a chance to take a break from appointments and therapy in a way that feels comfortable and supportive.
Activity Details
The group meets fortnightly on Thursdays during the school term from 10:00 to 12:00 AEDT. The scheduled sessions are:

- Thursday 5 June
- Thursday 19 June
- Thursday 3 July
Childminding services are not available, so please plan accordingly.
Location and Access
You can join the sessions in person at Plumtree Children’s Services, Yabsley Avenue, Jarvie Park, Marrickville, NSW 2204. If you are unable to attend in person or live outside Sydney, you can participate online by selecting the online option during registration.
Important Information
This program is designed for parents, primary carers, and family members of children aged 0-18 years with disabilities or developmental concerns. The sessions are conducted in Vietnamese by a dedicated Vietnamese Family Support Worker, ensuring culturally appropriate support. Booking and Prices
Attendance is free of charge. New members need to register once to create a MyTime membership profile. Returning members can RSVP directly by contacting the facilitator. Registration options include both online and in-person attendance to accommodate different needs.
