What to Expect

Activity Details
Open Lab runs every Saturday in February 2026 on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th. Sessions are available in three time slots: 1-2pm, 2-3pm, and 3-4pm, allowing flexibility to fit your schedule.
Each workshop includes a 10-minute arrival and pack-up time within the hour. Registration is required, and participants are limited to one session per day to ensure everyone gets a chance to join.
The program is free of charge, making it an accessible way to explore technology and creativity without any financial commitment.
Location and Access
The sessions take place at Lab.LX, located inside Whitlam Library at 165 Railway Parade, Cabramatta NSW 2166. This central location is easily accessible by public transport and offers a comfortable, well-equipped space for learning.
Library membership is recommended for attendees and is free for all. Signing up is simple and can be done online, providing access to additional library resources and programs.
Parking and local amenities are available nearby, making it convenient for families to attend.
Important Information
Participants should be aged 13 years or older. Guardians of children under 12 must remain on-site during the sessions, and guardians must be at least 16 years old.
Respectful behavior is expected to maintain a positive environment; inappropriate conduct may result in removal from the program.
Photography may occur during events for promotional purposes; notify staff if you do not consent to being photographed.
Workshops may be rescheduled or cancelled due to low enrolment or unforeseen circumstances, with notifications sent via email.
Booking and Prices
All sessions require prior registration through Eventbrite to secure your spot. Only one registration per person per day is allowed.
The workshops are free to attend, making them an excellent option for families looking for enriching activities without cost.
Please cancel your booking if you cannot attend to free up places for others. Failure to notify may affect future bookings.
