Open Maker Workshops offer a fantastic opportunity for adults aged 16 and over to dive into the world of creative making. What to Expect
Each workshop focuses on a different creative technique such as 3D modelling, laser cutting, or digital cutting. You will learn practical skills while working on fun projects like Lunar New Year magnets, bookmarks, Mother's Day gift boxes, and festive ornaments. No prior experience is needed, making it perfect for anyone curious about digital making.
Activity Details
Workshops run from February through December 2026, typically on Saturdays from 14:00 to 16:00. Sessions include:
- 3D Modelling with Fusion 360 and Blender Basics
- Laser Cutting projects including bookmarks and jewellery
- Digital Cutting for gift boxes, labels, and holiday cards
All workshops are free and designed for adults 16+ years.
Location and Access
The workshops take place at The Learning Space, Rhodes, a well-equipped venue accessible by public transport and with parking nearby. The space is designed to foster creativity and collaboration, providing all necessary tools and materials.
