Explore the wonders of nature and science at this year's Play and Explore event! Dive into a scavenger hunt around Hurstville Library to find hidden seed sites and gather materials to create your very own seed sphere. This engaging activity combines creativity with environmental education, perfect for curious young minds.
What to Expect
Join us for a delightful day where children can roll up biodegradable seed spheres made from clay, compost, and seeds. These spheres can be planted or tossed outdoors, where rain will naturally break them down to help seeds sprout and grow. It’s a fantastic way for kids to learn about seed science and sustainability in a fun, interactive setting.
