Pilates offers a wonderful opportunity to enhance your overall health through controlled, low-impact exercises that focus on core strength and flexibility. This practice is perfect for parents looking to improve posture, muscle tone, and reduce stress in a supportive community environment.
Join a welcoming Pilates class suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners. You will engage in exercises that promote mind-body connection and full-body conditioning. Mats are provided, but you can bring your own along with a towel and water to stay comfortable and hydrated.
Classes run every Monday and Tuesday from 18:00 to 19:00, starting Monday 2027-01-12 through Tuesday 2027-12-15. Please note there are no classes on specific public holidays and dates: 2027-01-26, 2027-04-06, 2027-06-08, 2027-08-03, and 2027-10-05. A pre-exercise health form is required before participation, and medical clearance is advised if you have any health concerns.
The sessions take place at Pyrmont Community Centre, located at the corner of John and Mount Streets, Pyrmont NSW 2009. The community hall is accessible and inclusive, with support available for any special access or communication needs upon request.
Participation is at your own risk, and the City of Sydney disclaims liability for any injury or loss.
