Experience a vibrant afternoon filled with joy and community spirit at the Rainbow Picnic Pack, part of PrideFest 2026. This event warmly welcomes rainbow families, friends, and allies to come together and celebrate love in all its beautiful colours.
Enjoy a lively range of free activities designed for all ages including mini golf, bubbles, face painting, craft activities, and musical and sensory play. Connect with local LGBTQIA+ providers, clubs, and organisations such as Rainbow Community House, Perth Rainbow Swans Swimming Club, and OUT Dance. Bring your picnic rug and indulge in delicious offerings from various food vendors.
The event also features John Carey's Pride Dog Show where you can bring your furry friend dressed to impress. Entries for the dog show can be made on the day at John Carey's stall. This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate community, diversity, and inclusivity in a welcoming environment.
Held at the beautiful Hyde Park, the venue is easily accessible by bus with stops right outside the park. For those driving, limited parking is available with recommended carparks on Beaufort Street including Barlee Street, Chelmsford Street, and Raglan Road. Walking or riding is encouraged to keep the neighbourhood accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

The Rainbow Picnic Pack is a free event open to all ages. No prior booking is required except for the dog show entries which are accepted on the day at the event.
