Looking for a fun, free and active way to spend the school holidays? Ride and Play offers a delightful bike adventure perfect for families with children aged 4–12. Bring your bike or scooter and embark on an exciting 3km trail along the beautiful Warripari (Sturt River).
Along the way, you’ll collect a Ride and Play passport and stop at various reserves to complete fun challenges, explore playgrounds, wetlands, and nature spots. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy nature, and learn about the local environment.
Finish the trail for your chance to win great prizes, making this an engaging and rewarding experience for kids and parents alike.
This event runs on Tuesday 2026-04-21 from 10:00 to 13:00. The trail is an easy 3km ride suitable for young children and families, encouraging active play and environmental awareness.
Participants will:
- Ride or scooter along the Sturt River Linear Park trail
- Complete challenges and collect stamps in their Ride and Play passport
- Discover local playgrounds, wetlands, and nature spots
- Have fun in a safe, family-friendly environment
