What to Expect
Step back in time and immerse your family in the fascinating world of ancient Rome. This engaging workshop invites children and their parents to meet emperors, gladiators, and Roman gods while exploring genuine artefacts and playing historic games.

Activity Details
The workshop runs daily from 10:00 to 16:00 between Monday 6 July and Monday 20 July 2026. Special sessions include 2pm-4pm from 6 to 20 July and morning sessions from 10am-12pm during 13 to 17 July.
Activities include:
- Meeting expert archaeologists and touring the museum’s Roman collection
- Playing Roman board games
- Participating in gladiator and chariot race role-plays
- Making Roman-style mosaics and crafts to take home
- Exploring Lego Pompeii before Vesuvius erupts
All activities require registration and are designed for children accompanied by a parent or guardian.
