This engaging ceramics workshop is perfect for teenagers aged 12 to 17 who want to explore the art of wheel throwing. No prior experience is needed, making it ideal for beginners eager to try their hand at creating cups, bowls, and other vessels from clay.
Under the guidance of an experienced tutor, participants will receive step-by-step instructions to master the basics of wheel throwing and decorating their creations. Returning students are encouraged to challenge themselves with more complex techniques.
The small class size ensures personalized attention, fostering a supportive and creative environment where young artists can flourish.
The workshop runs over two half-day sessions on Tuesday 2026-07-07 and Monday 2026-07-13, each from 09:00 to 12:00. All materials are provided, so participants only need to bring themselves dressed in comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes.
This intensive course is designed to introduce teens to the medium of clay and the fundamentals of ceramics wheel throwing. It is a fantastic opportunity to develop new skills and enjoy a hands-on creative experience during the school holidays.
