Get ready for a fun and interactive art experience where children can bring their favourite Australian animals, fairies, minibeasts, and sea creatures to life using coloured glitter. This session is designed to be calm and self-paced, making it suitable for children with different sensory comfort levels.
Kids will enjoy expressing their creativity in a relaxed environment, guided by friendly facilitators who encourage imagination and artistic exploration. Parents and carers can feel reassured knowing their children are engaged in a safe and supportive setting.
This activity is perfect for school-aged children who love arts and crafts and want to try something new and sparkly during the holidays.
This event is specifically for children aged 5 to 12 years old. Children outside this age range will not be permitted to participate to ensure the activities are age-appropriate and enjoyable for all attendees.
Carers are welcome to join their children during the session, but they do not need to register. Only the number of children participating needs to be confirmed at booking.
Please be aware that photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional use by the library and City of Canada Bay Council. If you prefer your child not to be photographed or filmed, please notify a staff member on arrival.
The Sticky Art session will be held at Five Dock Library, located at 4-12 Garfield Street, Five Dock. The library is easily accessible by public transport and has parking options nearby.
The venue is welcoming and family-friendly, providing a comfortable space for children to explore their creativity. Facilities are accessible for carers and parents who wish to stay and support their children.
