Step into a world of discovery where young learners and their adults engage in hands-on science experiments designed to spark curiosity and fun. This workshop encourages families to explore scientific concepts together through interactive activities that bring learning to life.
Together, you will dive into experiments involving static electricity, forces, sound, and density using everyday materials. The workshop is crafted to be accessible and enjoyable, making science approachable for children and adults alike.
Each participant receives a take-home booklet filled with additional activities and experiments, perfect for continuing the scientific journey beyond the museum.
This workshop features six in-workshop activities that promote active experimentation and discovery. It is suitable for children aged 6 to 10 years and requires adult accompaniment, with both child and adult needing tickets.
The session lasts 1.5 hours, running from 13:30 to 15:00, and is held in the STEM Lab at Scienceworks. Participants should wear clothing suitable for hands-on activities that might get a little messy.
Tickets are priced at $35 for children 16 years and under, $30 for adults, with discounted prices for members: $28 for children and $10 for adults.
