What to Expect
Step into the world of printmaking with this engaging workshop tailored for children aged 9 to 14. Inspired by the captivating Once Upon a Doll exhibition, participants will explore the art of dry point etching, a technique that allows them to scratch their own doll-inspired designs into printing plates. This creative process encourages storytelling through art, resulting in unique prints full of character.
The workshop is facilitated by Skye Jones, an experienced artist and educator, who will guide the teens through each step with expert support and inspiration. It’s a fantastic opportunity for young creatives to develop new skills and express their imagination in a fun, hands-on environment.
Parents can expect their children to come away with a deeper appreciation for printmaking and a one-of-a-kind artwork to cherish.
